Top End Components

All units are pre-matched into homogenous pairs before being mounted into loudspeakers.

The crossover is a 12 dB Linkwitz/Riley with incorporated T.I.M. reduction circuits 2750 Hz 12 dB per octave.

The tweeter is a 38 mm ring radiator selected to reproduce overtones freely, detailed, with very high resolution, and no tendency for intrusive resonances.

For the mid and low frequencies, we use two 5-inch woven mineral cones with excellent internal damping and extremely linear frequency response. The optimized center bullet reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil. The lower suspension reduces sound reflection air flow noise and keeps cavity resonance to a minimum.

With terminals from WBT, Miflex, and Jantzen 3mm coils, and internal wiring from Van den Hul in a special hybrid configuration of pure copper and silver plating, Frida ensures unparalleled signal processing and minimal signal degradation.

A Story

"Today, I had the pleasure of hosting Kim Storgaard from Storgaard & Vestskov, who brought along their "small" floorstanding model, Gro, as well as the stand-mounted Frida. We focused solely on Gro, and after years in Hi-Fi, it takes a lot to truly impress me. But after a few hours with Gro, paired with various playlists from Qobuz, I was genuinely blown away.

Kim and his team have crafted a beautifully balanced, harmonious speaker that doesn’t feel “thin” or “small” compared to my horn-loaded speakers.
